Sandy BradyHeritage Collectables is proud to have renowned scrimshaw artist, Sandy Brady, part of our team. Sandy has been a scrimshaw artist since 1976 and her scrimshaw "objects d'art" are owned by collectors worldwide! Prior to starting her career, "scrimshaw was an obscure art for etched by old salts, Eskimos, and occasionally a real artists." Her dream was to bring a contemporary look to this ancient art. Needless to say, Sandy has realized her dreams.

Dennis FriedlyHeritage Collectables would like to introduce Cody, Wyoming custom knife maker, Dennis Friedly. Dennis has been building custom knives for 50 years, and has been apart of our Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation commemorative series, our University of Wyoming edition, and several of our donation programs. In fact, a custom knife that Dennis designed for us, brought $50,000.00 at a Wounded Warrior Outdoors related auction. Needless to say, Heritage Collectables is honored to have Dennis on our team.
David YellowhorseDavid Yellowhorse and Heritage Collectables have been business associates since the mid 1990s. David and I met at a knife/gun show in Reno. Being located next to each other, I was drawn to the beauty, uniqueness and detail of his custom knives. Getting “an education” from David, I asked him to design the Cutco Bullwhip folding knife into a piece of Yellowhorse artwork. Being from Wyoming, I chose the Buffalo to be featured on the handle. David provided me a mock-up, I approved it and BULLWHIP LIMITED was introduced. It was a 100 piece, (1 thru 100) edition and sold very quickly. BULLWHIP LIMITED was followed by our Collegiate Collection. This edition consisted of six officially licensed collegiate knives, The University of Wyoming, The University of Nevada, The University of Nebraska, Montana State University, The University of Alabama and Auburn University. Over the years, DAVID and Heritage Collectables have partnered up on several Limited Editions and exclusive fund raisers for selected foundations and fund raisers that have raised over $400,000.00.
In addition to our friendship, David continues to design and build for us, exclusive and “one of a kind” commemorative editions. |
